Sesame and the back door opened in the middle of Gile's warmup, and in
walked Kevin, Cam & Simon carrying Dean, sat majestically on his carpet.
Then the boys stepped aside and by Ali Kazam, the carpet began to fly!
You had to be there to see Dean's flying carpet, it was truly amazing
and he received a very special prize of free salsa for the rest of the
year! Our other winners were Maxine the belly dancing queen and Darren
from Eastbourne, who also bravely came as a belly dancer!!
We
had an outstanding stage set from 'Pete Green' again, including The Oasis,
Ali D'z Hareem (Dean's & Ali's corner), a Kazbar and even a beautiful
camel (see last few photos)! The surprise show was Manhatten Mambo from
London in which Marcus made his debut performance! Gile's & Rosa's
show was fantastically fast and furious and both shows really wowed the
crowd.
We had more Sheiks to shake a stick at, Helen looked great in her snake
outfit, and so many other wonderful costumes (some even purchased from
the Far Eastern Bay (aka eBay!)). Thank you again to everyone.
