At various times throughout the year we encourage everyone to let their hair down, be creative and dress up for our themed Salsa nights at Salsa Caliente
(format of the club is listed on the Classes page)

We are certainly not shy on the South Coast and each themed night gets bigger and more creative than the last, so please come fully prepared for a night to remember, (see photos from previous themed nights).

2nd May - Circus Celebrations - 12th Anniversary of TLC in Southampton!

Thank you to everyone who "Rolled up, Rolled up" - we had the greatest 'Cirque de Salsa' show on the South Coast - with everyone from clowns to Cathy's Candy floss and gymnasts to 'Golden Balls' with a special mention to Zoe, the knife throwing assistant (check out the scars - ouch!) Check out the photos

Our guest stars Dean and Jess gave a dare-devilish, jaw-dropping, zip-busting (!) display of acrobatics. They also judged the competition, and from an awesome array of talent, special effects and facepaint (!), they named the winners:

Alan (with hand-painted t-shirt and hand-made shoes, courtesy of his girlfriend Kaz) and Miriam as the 'StrongMan' with hand-made, implanted muscles!

With many thanks to all of you for the last 12 years .... and there's certainly more to come!!

Our 2008 themed nights are:

Friday, 8th Aug - PJ Party!
Yes that's right, a pajama party, full of naughty nighties, long johns, bed socks, baby dolls, teddy bears and pillow fights!

Friday, 12th Dec - Come Strictly Salsa Dancing!
More details to follow
- but don't miss this one!

For photos of previous themed nights, see photos page

Previous guest teachers: Marchant Birch, Lee Wright, Trevor Layne, Angus Peters, Dean Maynard, Rohan Brown, Giles & Rosa Eadle, Rudy B, Nigel Maye, Dean & Jess,

AAIR Festival of Dance at Winchester Guildhall
The Broadway, Winchester, Hampshire
SO23 9LJ

This was a fantastic night on Friday March 17th 2006 at Winchester Guildhall, hosted by Strictly Come Dancing's James Martin, raising a staggering £4,100 for the AAIR charity.

The event was staged by The Hampshire Charity AAIR (Asthma, Allergy & Inflammation Research) www.aaircharity.org and jointly sponsored by TLC

Among the evening’s highlights were Ocean FM’s breakfast team Richard Williams and Louise Reed, staging their own unique Argentine Tango performance partnered by Tracie Gooch & Eduardo Bozzo. See below for pictures

Here are some pictures of the 'Tango Team in Training!'. From left to right:

BBC CALIENTE - Friday 18th March 2005

"Facing the Music" - with Danny Corp was transmitted on Weds, 20th July 2005 on BBC1 !

Our special Salsa Caliente for the filming of this show was a fantastic night and thank you to all of you who supported TLC. There must have been nearly 200 of you who turned up and we really apreciate your efforts in being there at 7pm and looking drop dead gorgeous. Unfortunatly the BBC arrived late and therefore we had a group warm up instead of the group lesson at 8pm. The dance floor was so chock-a-block that the cameraman could hardly move between you!

The show is called 'Facing the Music' presented by Fame Academy vocal coaches and husband and wife team, Carrie and David Grant - as pictured above with Tracie

and lastly, it had to be done ....... a picture of Tracie and Lorraine with Vincent from Strictly Come Dancing, while he was taking the Jive class at Fleet in March 2007. (He was our favourite!!):
