We have always advocated that dancing can really help with mental wellbeing in so many ways, and here’s proof that dance can really improve your health and your brain

Our superb adult Ballroom & Latin classes are designed for Beginners to Advanced dancers at the TLC dance school in Southampton every Monday (except Bank Holidays & Christmas).
We teach all your Strictly Ballroom & Latin favourites and it’s a great way to gain confidence on the dance floor or refresh your technique for tea dances and cruise holidays!  We teach in a very organic way so that dancers learn how to lead and to follow with improvisation, rather than learn choreography.  Without the pressure of exams or medals we have a lot of fun on the dance floor.

BEGINNERS

Our wonderful 4-week cycle of Beginners Ballroom & Latin courses throughout the year, and the schedule of dances is listed below.
We assume you know nothing or very little about dance and we will guide you through the basics of each style of dance, while having loads of fun.

EXISTING DANCERS
For those who have danced before, we have:
Level 2 with Claire – suitable for those with the basics & rhythm of each dance – ie Bronze level
Level 3 with Tracie – suitable for those who are very confident with the rhythm and simple moves in each dance – ie Silver/Gold

You now have the choice to attend either all the ballroom classes in the first hour, or all the Latin classes in the second hour.  Or you can do both classes each evening and really get prepared for the dance floor, whatever music is playing!
Alternatively you can pay a monthly subscription of £45 (minimum 3 months), starting from the 1st of each month by standing order – please email Tracie for bank details.
Or you can pay on a weekly basis via the online shop or on the door with cash or card.
